How we use AI

We use AI to do the mechanical work of reading construction documents, so that qualified people can spend their time on review and judgement.

What AI does. It identifies assets, quantities and maintenance details in drawings, specifications and manuals, and drafts the asset register and schedules.
What people do. Our team checks the results. Where certification is part of the engagement, an independent quantity surveyor reviews and certifies the maintenance schedule and capital works plan. Customers and their advisers decide how to use them.
Which AI. Google's Gemini models, through Google Cloud's Vertex AI.
Where your documents go. Your documents are stored in Australia. When our AI reads them, Google may process them outside Australia.
Training. Google does not use our customers' documents to train its models, and neither do we. We use de-identified, aggregated building information, with no personal information, to improve our benchmarks.
Assistants. When you talk to Titan, you are talking to an AI assistant, and we say so.
